Getting Dirty and Doing Good
Mike Rowe joins Cub Cadet on GreenCare for Troops mission.
One way Cub Cadet takes its commitment to providing a Better Experience and Better Results beyond the realm of building Better Products is to be an active part of the community. That's why Cub Cadet continues its support of military families by putting its premium products and pocketbook to work for GreenCare for Troops. In fact, Cub Cadet is raising awareness for the non-profit by getting a little dirty - with Dirty Jobs' Mike Rowe and the Discovery Channel. A recent project appeared in a short segment on Dirty Jobs, but you can see how the entire job played out right here.
After you watch Cub Cadet and Mike Rowe transform the yard, get a closer look at this project in the photo gallery.
Did you get a good look at that GreenCare for Troops t-shirt that Mike Rowe is wearing in the video? That one is nice, but now there is a better one - and a story to go along with it. Mike Rowe created a special "Dirt Shirt," with his own top 10 reasons to support GreenCare for Troops, and he blogged about why it's a cause worth supporting. Click here to read Mike's blog and take a closer look at the shirt, or better yet, buy one to support GreenCare for Troops.
Special thanks to Sgt. Peter Mavropoulos, Joy Westenberg at Project Evergreen, Discovery Channel, Mike Rowe, the Dirty Job's production crew and the volunteers from Brickman Group for their time and support.
